Once Upon A Child, a secondhand children's clothing franchise on Richmond Avenue in Eltingville, closed its doors in November after 23 years. However, Alberta Stavros, known as "Alberta," the store manager and the face of the business, has returned with a new venture. In 2018, her sister Angela Messina opened Repeat Boutique in Travis, offering high-end, gently used items at affordable prices. Alberta is once again the face of the business, greeting customers with her contagious smile. The boutique buys merchandise outright and focuses on customers' desired brands at discounted prices.

The Colella sisters, originally from Brooklyn, relocated to Staten Island in the 1990s to raise their families. They continue to maintain strong bonds and can frequently be found lending a hand at the boutique.
